Czerniak joins team to oversee distribution of Glatfelter programs in newly-designed distribution plan
Glatfelter announced a new Distribution Organization Plan designed to help streamline operations, enhance efficiencies and forge deeper relationships with broker partners.
This shift means the company is moving from having "sales associates" dedicated to each of our Glatfelter programs, including Glatfelter Healthcare, Glatfelter Ministry Care and Glatfelter Public Entities, to a unified approach that will allow our newly-named "Territory Distribution Leaders" to serve as a single point of contact for Glatfelter distribution partners, based on their location.
Troy Markel, Head of Glatfelter Distribution, will continue his leadership of the distribution team and spearhead this new model with help from Paul Czerniak, who recently joined Glatfelter as Managing Director of Distribution and has a successful history of driving substantial revenue and profitability within the property and casualty insurance marketplace.
Paul joins the team from Signers National where he served in multiple sales leadership roles, including Director of Strategic Mergers & Acquisitions and Director of Sales for Convelo Insurance Group. Prior to working at Signers, Paul worked for GuideOne Insurance for almost 30 years, including serving as Vice President of Eastern US Sales, where he gained a deep and unique understanding of many of the niche marketplaces that Glatfelter serves.
"Paul's experience with churches, healthcare and caregiving facilities, nonprofits and other niche markets fits perfectly with the philosophy of Glatfelter programs," explains Markel. "His knowledge of community-focused markets, products and strategies will not only serve as an asset to our team, but also to our broker partners who are not only looking to grow their book—but retain it, too."
Paul has an Executive MBA from Ohio University, as well as a bachelor's degree from Cedarville University and certificates in Risk Management and Insurance Management. Paul resides in Indianapolis and enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, cheering on Ohio State ("O-H-I-O!"), traveling, being outdoors and working with vintage audio and radio equipment.
